January 14th, 2010 by Parks and Recreation No comments »Do your skates need to be sharpened?
The generosity of our community keeps on getting better and better.
Here we go…
On Saturday Morning January 23rd from 10:00 am to Noon, Ray Ehlinger from Wabeno will be at the Riverview Town Hall to sharpen your ice skates. Just bring your skates and Ray will sharpen them while you wait for free. Yes I said for no charge. He just wants to see you skate fast…
Also watch the serious hockey players on Saturday Mornings.
One more thing…
Now you can skate from the Christmas Tree Rink to the Hockey Rink in back of the Fire Station. Yes I said you can skate. We have an ICE ROAD between the two rinks. It’s better than Hans Brinker
We have the ice conditions and upcoming happenings posted on the Town of Riverview Website. Just click on the Parks and Recreation Button. www.townofriverview.com
Remember… THURSDAY NITES at 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm Everybody get out and ice skate!
